Activityprograms.org was created by Richard Hornor, a long-time chess enthusiast and instructor for children. He has taught in many schools, camps and park districts, not only to groups of children, but also has provided individual coaching. Richard has brought in other chess professionals to join him in expanding chess programs nationwide. Many of the students of Activityprograms.org have won or placed high in local, state and national chess tournaments.
Activityprograms.org provides chess classes given by local instructors across the United States. All instructors are screened for their skills as teachers in addition to their chess experience.
